What brought me to KLR was a change in career paths. I was not moving ahead in my current job and was looking for something new. The first day of class I was extremely nervous, my main concern was not pronouncing the names of the medication correctly. Once Katie explained that the medication pronouncing was not an important factor I became more comfortable. Katie made the class more fun with the way she made us remember certain things by combining pharmacy words with everyday life situations. Like ‘opam, olam odamn I have anxiety. I will be using my certificate to start my career as a pharmacy technician while pursuing my certification in pharmacy informatics.
