CPhT

Hi my name is Justice Carter and I am from Indianapolis, Indiana. I started the Pharmacy Technician course through KLR Medical Certification Training School back in December of 2022. I was so excited for it because I felt like being a Pharmacy Technician was going to be a really cool job, and it's in the healthcare field where eventually I wanted to be. I was taking the course through The Excel Center. If you don't know what The Excel Center is, it's a school that adults can go to so they can obtain their high school diploma. By the time I got enrolled in KLR I was already done with my high school classes so I just needed to pass the Pharmacy Technician course and obtain the certification so I could graduate. I actually had to take this course two times to be exact. The first time when I started back in December of 2022, I was falling behind because I had so much going on in my life and I didn't end up meeting the requirements to take the state national exam. The class prepares you by teaching you material and helping you learn things that you're going to see on the national exam, which you need to take to become certified. Also the material you are learning are things that will be used in your career as a Pharmacy Technician. I was allowed to take the course a second time starting in February of 2023 and I got my head on straight. During the course Katie (who is the instructor) makes sure that you get a lot of practice learning the material to make sure you succeed. Also everyone else from the KLR team are so nice, understanding, helpful, and encouraging throughout the whole time you take this course. I felt like I was given so much knowledge to succeed and I don't think I could ever ask for any better instructors. Now that I'm a Certified Pharmacy Technician I plan on using my certification to apply for jobs and go ahead and jump into this career and see what it brings to me!! Thanks so much to the KLR team for everything and helping me succeed!!
